PhD in Sensor Fusion and Computer Vision based Industrial Inspection

IPI has a few open vacancies. The first research topic is real-time advanced sensor fusion algorithms combining low level radar, video and/or LiDAR data into robust, highly accurate object detection and tracking systems. This research has applications in automotive (intelligent & autonomous vehicles), traffic monitoring, security & surveillance, smart industries.

For industrial inspection, research topics include AI systems for robust detection of anomalies or defects, classification of materials, registration of multi-modal data (e.g. infrared data with UV data) and highly parallel extreme real-time data processing.

Both PhD candidates and experienced researchers are encouraged to apply.
