At the 16th Ghent University FEA Research Symposium, held on Wednesday 9 December 2015, Attila Fésus was awarded the Atlas Copco Best poster Award. Out of 77 posters, he was awarded this honor for his work titled "Paint loss detection and virtual inpainting to assist conservation of the Ghent Altarpiece (het Lam Gods)".
